  • Sankyu received an order for the integrated export of viscose rayon plant bound for Yugoslavia.

  • Okazaki Kogyo Co., Ltd. was founded.

  • 30 company-owned barges in the Moji-Shimonoseki area were relocated to the Port of Yokohama.

  • Seishichiro Nakamura was elected to the position of Chairman, Yuichi Nakamura was elected President.

  • Yawata Steel Mill Contract Logistics Providers Association founded.
  • As charter member, Sankyu supported the integration of Yawata’s subcontractors.

  • Cooperated in the construction of Nippon Oil Kudamatsu Oil Refinery.Designated as their on-site logistics provider.

  • Seishichiro Nakamura, founder of the company, was inaugurated President.
  • The company was named Sankyu Transportation Co., Ltd.
